Aiming to boost its post-paid subscriber base, country’s largest telecom services provider Bharti Airtel has launched ‘myPlan’ that will allow post-paid customers to customise their bill plans according to their preference.
“Every customer is different and so are their needs and requirements as far as tariff plans are concerned. Most of the times no one plan suits all your needs. Hence, we have introduced myPlan wherein subscribers can choose whatever services they like,” Govind Rajan, CMO - Consumer Business, Bharti Airtel said.
Under, myPlan, customers will be able to choose from five monthly rental plans, starting from 199 and going up till Rs 999. Once, the rental is chosen, users can pick up one or more 'my packs', for instance, local minutes or national messages free of charge.
"Choosing a plan has become simple as we have gone down a one plan framework from over 5,000 plans that we offer on the whole," Mr. Rajan said.
Of the about 900 million mobile phone users in the country, nearly 95 per cent are prepaid users, while only 5 per cent are postpaid users.
