Pact with Bengal Chamber

European Business and Technology Centre, a programme co-financed by European Union and co-ordinated by the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry, has signed up with the Bengal Chambers of Commerce & Industry, among the country's oldest chambers, with an aim to foster link between European and Indian businesses in science and technology. Daniele Smadja, Head of the delegation of the European Union to India said that the new centre would raise awareness about the existing European programmes and also promote sustainable clean technologies in India.

The main focus of the agreement is to develop strategic business alliances and joint research projects. while also focussing on clean technology transfer and development in India.
