Claiming that the ‘Atal Food-grain Scheme’ has been a success for people living below poverty line, state government today said that there is no dearth of food-grain for the needy.

“The scheme is running successfully in the whole state with transparency in processes, and that all the districts of the state are being inquired on daily basis for efficiency” Commissioner Food supply, Suvardhan said.

“Out of 8,222 cheap ration shops 7,343 shops have picked up the ration and formalities are being completed for the remaining ones” the Commissioner said.

Daily analysis of the schemes at the state headquarter is being done and a special arrangement is made to accommodate a control room for this purpose at Food supply office, Mr. Suvardhan added.
