Naidu bumps into old friend Bill Gates at Davos

On the final day of his Davos trip, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was taken by surprise when he bumped into Microsoft founder Bill Gates on Friday at the World Economic Forum Annual Summit.

“Bill Gates, an old friend of the chief minister, said he was happy to see him after 10 long years. He congratulated Mr. Naidu on his new gig,” chief minister’s office here said in a statement.

Mr. Gates invited the chief minister to a private dinner being hosted by him tonight at the WEF.

Mr. Naidu also met with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and discussed about investment opportunities, the statement said.
