Bharti Airtel has extended its ‘Holiday Surprises’ offer, which offers 10GB free data per billing cycle to its post-paid users, by three months.

In a mail sent to its subscribers, the company’s CEO Gopal Vittal said, “…we are extending the data surprise by another three months. Now, you get the extra data for three more billing cycles. All you need to do is claim your surprise on My Airtel app after July 1, 2017.”

Bharti Airtel had initially introduced the offer in April this year for three months. Under this offer, Airtel has been offering free 10GB 4G data every month to post-paid users. The move comes amid aggressive plans offered by Reliance Jio. The entry of the Mukesh-Ambani owned firm, which had been offering free services for almost seven months post-unveiling, has triggered a tariff war in the sector.
