Praveen Swami

Praveen Swami is The Hindu ’s strategic affairs editor, and Resident Editor of its New Delhi edition. He is a specialist on regional security issues, and has written two books on India-Pakistan conflict.

He has won several awards for his work. He also serves as an independent member of Delhi’s Security Commission, the government oversight body responsible for police accountability and reform in India’s capital city.

Born in 1969, Praveen read history at King’s College, Cambridge University.
