Naomi Wolf is an author, social critic, and political activist. Her landmark international bestseller, The Beauty Myth , challenged the cosmetics industry and the marketing of unrealistic standards of beauty, launching a new wave of feminism in the early 1990s. Her latest book, Vagina: A New Biography , was an iTunes bestseller as an audiobook.

Naomi is a regular columnist for The Guardian US and Project Syndicate , and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post , The Washington Post and Harper’s Bazaar .

A graduate of Yale and a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, Naomi is a co-founder of The Woodhull Institute for Ethical Leadership, which teaches leadership to young women, and The American Freedom Campaign, a grassroots democracy movement in the United States.
