Nandini Krishnan is a writer, playwright and stage actor based in Madras, the city she grew up in. After working as a broadcast journalist in London and Delhi, she decided to freelance for print and web media, and focus on her writing. She started off as a humour writer, and now does stand-up comedy. Nandini also reviews books and films for several publications, and writes a weekly current affairs column. Her plays have been shortlisted for The Hindu Metro Plus Playwright Award in the past.

Hitched is her first book, and she is currently working on two novels.
