Meenal Baghel is the editor-in-chief of The Mumbai Mirror, India’s most widely read compact newspaper, and oversees the Bangalore, Pune and Ahmedabad editions of the Mirror. She is the author of the critically acclaimed Death in Mumbai (published by Random House), a nonfiction account of the killing of a famous television executive and its repercussions on the hyper-ambitious world of Mumbai's film and television world.

Meenal Baghel will be in conversation with Mayank Austen Soofi and Ranvir Shah on Mean Streets in Chennai on February 17, 2013 at the Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall in Lady Andal School.
