John Green isn’t the only author in his family.
Mr. Green’s brother and YouTube collaborator, Hank Green, has a two-book deal with the Penguin Random House imprint Dutton. The first book is a novel about an art student and a sculpture of a giant robot, “An Absolutely Remarkable Thing.”
Dutton, which also publishes John Green, announced Tuesday that the novel is scheduled for next fall. Hank Green said in a statement that he hoped the book would help capture the “really weird” historical moment we’re living in.
The younger Green brother shared The New York Times article announcing his new book on Twitter with straightforward message — "I have news."
Meanwhile, John, the 40-year-old bestselling author tweeted "SO EXCITED for Hank Green's novel (!!!!!) An Absolutely Remarkable Thing coming out next year (!!!!!) (sic) ."
John Green’s “Turtles All the Way Down,” his first novel since the million-selling “The Fault in Our Stars,” comes out next month.
