Of magic, myths and legends

The story of The Ring of Solomon revolves around Bartimaeus, the tongue-in-cheek djinn, who amazes you with his sarcastic wit and wisecracks.

Set in 950 B.C. Jerusalem, where King Solomon rules, it is a tale of magic and fantasy. It is about a magic ring, a weapon which can kill even the user.

The ring has made Solomon a powerful overlord and forced other kingdoms into submission. One such kingdom is Sheba, ruled by Queen Balkis. To thwart this, the queen sends a female assassin, Asmira, to finish Solomon and get the ring. Bartimaeus is also drawn into the plot with Asmira and the story then focuses on their mission.

The story makes for an exhilarating read for everyone. It is the kind of book you can’t put down.

I would give it 9.7/10 on the rating scale.
