Mudhra's drama festival ‘Nadaga Rathinangal,' featuring seven best Tamil plays, was inaugurated by C.Rangarajan, general manager, Indian Overseas Bank, on June 9, at Infosy Hall, Ramakrishna Mission School, T. Nagar.
Film director K. Balachander graced the occasion and presented the ‘Nataka Mudhra award' to playwright and director Bombay Chanakya. Mudhra Bhaskar, secretary, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the achievements of Mudhra in the past 18 years. Nalli Kuppusamy Chetti (president) and A. Natarajan (vice president) offered felicitations. Dr. Radha Bhaskar, treasurer, proposed the vote of thanks. The function was followed by ‘TRP,' a play produced by Bombay Chanakya.
