Thanjavur S. Kiruthiga rendered a vocal concert at the 90th monthly music festival of the Tiruchi Tamil Isai Sangam at the Sri Gowri Krishna Auditorium in Tiruchi city recently. She was ably accompanied by Srirangam R. Lakshmi Narayanan on the violin, Srirangam S. Vijayaraghavan on the mridangam and Malaikottai R.M. Deenadayulu on the morsing. K. Selvakumar, chief educational officer, was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he explained the richness of the Tamil music. L.N. Lakshmanan, president, Tiruchi Tamil Isai Sangam, presided over the programme and secretary K. Rangarajan explained the steps taken by the Sangam to promote Tamil music across the state. N. Mohan, vicepresident of the Sangam, and Palaniandi, treasurer, offered felicitations.
