Ghatam Kartick is wrong to say that a carnatic musician needs to be accepted in Chennai before they are appreciated elsewhere.
The Carnatic music originated in Karnataka and Andhra and there are plenty of India Americans who have great rasikas and imense knowledge of Carnatic Music.
