It is a tale of a Muslim youth whose life is tragically altered after this incident.

The story highlights how appalling an act of terrorism can be. The movie also marks the debut of Raajveer opposite Megha Chatterjee.

Talking about “Ruslaan”, Megha said it is close to her heart and she had a wonderful experience shooting for it in the beautiful locales of Kashmir. Being the daughter of an established actress, Megha has learnt a lot from her mother which eventually helped in refining her performance. Incidentally, Moushumi herself is a big fan of the songs of the movie. Her favourite is “Pyaar ki parsayee,” a romantic number. Her daughter’s choice, however, is a little different. She loves the song, “Har ek lamhe.” Commenting on the changing face of Indian music, Moushmi said that the youth today has become more receptive to the various genres of music and therefore the music of “Ruslaan”’smusic encompassing a variety of melodies, is in sync with their interests and choices.
