Aanmajothi (, Sri Krishna Sweets and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan will commemorate the 91st birth anniversary of D.K. Pattammal from March 8-12, at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore. The five-day event includes special concerts by her disciples, an audio visual presentation, a song and dance ensemble of her film songs and much more. The programmes of the first four days begin at 5.45 p.m. At the valedictory function on March 12, 6.15 p.m. ‘Gana Saraswathi Smt. D.K. Pattammal Birudhu’ will be presented to Vijay Siva, in the presence of Vyjayantimala Bali, T.S. Krishnamurthy, chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Chennai Kendra and M. Murali, managing director, Sri Krishna Sweets.

The celebration will also support Aanmajothi’s ‘Music to Schools’ endeavour which works towards taking music and dance to schools and colleges. For donor passes and details call: 91766 80520; 91766 13201.
