She danced her way to the Indian Book of Records

Anjana Thomas, an eighth class student, has entered the Indian Book of Records by performing Kuchipudi dance from Timmapur in Dubbak mandal to Siddipet on Monday.

‘Walking the dance,' which began at 5 a.m., concluded at 1 p.m.

Anjana and her teacher M. Yadagiri Acharya have performed different forms of Kuchipudi dance at Siddipet. Rammohan Reddy from the Indian Book of Records presented them the certificates. These two were the first from Medak district to enter the Indian Book of Records, Mr. Reddy said. Both of them were felicitated at the Citizens club at Siddipet in the evening.
