The Sixth Sense

If a psychological thriller with a mind-blowing revelation at the end is your thing, then this is a great movie for you. A successful psychologist tries to help a nine-year-old child get rid of his delusions and hallucinations only to discover that the confessions made by the child that he can “see the dead” is real. As he tries to focus all his attention on this case, he is additionally burdened by the rift in his familial relationships. Helping the boy out of his troubles is just not the end of the game, a much more rude shock awaits him...

Insomnia

Life is just not quite as smooth as it was for Will Dormer, a Los Angeles detective, as he gets caught up in an internal affairs problem that could doom his career and is then sent to Alaska to investigate the murder of Kay Connel where he is plagued by insomnia. In the pursuit of trapping the murderer at the crime scene, he accidentally shoots his partner, Eckhart, who could have been a possible witness against him in the internal affairs problem. He soon receives threatening phone calls from Kay’s murderer who attempts to snap a deal with the detective to get away freely so as to keep mum about the ‘accidental’ killing. The movie keeps us guessing about whether he succumbs to the threat or fights back.

National Treasure

The movie is an adventurous treasure hunt with startling twists each minute. A mad chase for an ancient treasure by two different groups with contrasting ambitions — Ben, a historian and cryptologist with sole intention of protecting it and Ian who would go to any extent to own it. The film offers a 131 minute roller-coaster ride to its viewers.

I, Robot

A Chicago police detective resolves to decipher the sudden mysterious death of his friend Lanning, a creator of robots. Childhood experiences of losing an arm in an accident and losing a friend who could not be saved by the robots despite the possibility, his robophobia helps him understand the right clues left by Lanning. The movie leaves us thinking about the social impact of employing anthropomorphic robots to better the world.
