When Hrithik Roshan came to know that actor Sridevi was next door to where he was shooting, he rushed to meet the senior actor. Sridevi was in the midst of press promotions of her comeback film, English Vinglish, when Hrithik entered the room. Incidentally, Sridevi was Hrithik’s first co-star — long before Hrithik’s debut as a hero in Kaho Na … Pyar Hai, he had played a child actor in his actor-filmmaker father Rakesh Roshan’s production, Bhagwan Dada, in which Sridevi was the heroine. Not able to hold back his admiration, Hrithik went up to Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor and producer Balki and told them how he thought Sridevi still looks stunning. As she has seen him as a little boy, Hrithik was embarrassed to go and compliment Sridevi on her looks.
Sweet story
He loves to look fit but that doesn’t stop him from having sweets. Ayushmann Khurana, the star of this year’s sleeper hit, Vicky Donor, has a soft spot for… desserts. Says the young actor, “I love Indian sweets such as kulfi, falooda, phirni, rasgullas, gulab jamun and jalebis. More than cakes and chocolates, I prefer desi mithai. After all the critical acclaim for his performance in Vicky Donor, he deserves to indulge in them now more than ever.
Two good
Sachin Kundalkar, who makes his directorial debut in Hindi with Aiyya, is excited with his actors Rani Mukherji and Southern star Prithviraj. Says Sachin, “Prithvi is an amazing actor and both he and Rani look very fresh in the film. I am sure together they will scorch the screen.”
