Chandini was in no hurry to sign films after “Sidhu + 2”. She completed her graduation in Visual Communication at Ethiraj College, and now has a couple of Tamil projects in hand. “I did not accept all the films that came my way. I wanted only the good ones,” she says.
She's eagerly awaiting the release of her next film “Padithurai” produced by actor Arya. “It is a challenging role. New comers hardly get such powerful roles, and I'm glad I did. I'm also working on ‘Naan Rajavaaga Pogiren', in which I play a Law student. I also have a few ad films in hand. I'm waiting for an opportunity to showcase my talent on the big screen,” says Chandini.
It's official!
Maestro Ilaiyaraaja's birthday had two highlights — the release of his book and the launch of his official website. The musician is visibly delighted about the website. “I'll be in touch with my fans, and answer their questions about music. The site will soon have details about my songs and related material,” he says. That's quite an impressive task considering he's scored music for over 900 films in all the South Indian languages and Hindi.
