It seems producer Paruchuri Kireeti preferred Ramjoi Film City to shoot that song sequence for the simple reason that it was easy for him to house a 400-member unit (including a 300-member strong crowd) in it and he can shoot at various eye catching locations in one place.

As one steps into one of those well laid out streets with ornamental lighting on the sidewalks, one came across choreographer Prem Rakshith helping the three starlets – Hamsa Nandini, Mariam Zachariah and Muneera to get the steps right as the tape from the nagra blared the peppy item number.

Once the actors got their act right together, he ordered for the take. Lead star Rana, Bharath and Jogi Brothers joined the revelry as cinematographer Venkat Prasad started cranking the scene. The huge crowd formed a colourful backdrop.

Chakri's music for the banner's earlier film, Simha was a great hit and he was retained in this one to compose the seven songs. Interestingly there are seven action blocks too composed by Ram-Lakshman. The fights are an integral part of the story and seem realistic, you are informed.

Rana plays Ganesh , a indifferent man with an ‘I don't care' attitude towards others. He does what he likes, a practical guy who thinks money is everything and of course he is selfish to the core. In simple words, he feels that what other people think of you doesn't matter , do what you like.

Quite opposite is the academically qualified girl from a village, Krishnaveni (played by Genelia). She is in search of love. What happens when the two meet forms the central plot. Most of the shoot was held in Malaysia where the story is set.

Our focus shifts to the ongoing shoot. After filming a couplet from the song, the unit is shifting to the adjacent location. Venkat Prasad is seen in conversation with the director. The two have known each other since they worked for Mahesh starrer Bobby. Prasad had promised to wield the camera for Prakash's debut film; and he kept his word.

The director requests us to protect the lyrics till the audio release. He is banking on the songs as much as he is banking on his story and lead actors. While the post production work is going on simultaneously, one song remains to be filmed which according to the story has to be shot in Malaysia. To explain that his film offers a fresh and fragrant love story to the audience, he likens it to ‘Hyderabadi Biryani served in a plantain leaf.'

The movie is slated for release in the third week of March.
