Actor Dhanush

Actor Dhanush

Close on the heels of Aishwarya Dhanush wielding the megaphone for “3” where her husband and Shruthi Hassan play the lead, Dhanush himself is planning to direct a film. He was in Mumbai recently in this regard, and used the opportunity to meet Big B. The actor thanked Amitabh Bachchan for his positive tweet on ‘Kolaveri Di'. In fact, Dhanush was seen with junior Bachchan at the premiere of Tom Cruise's “Mission Impossible”. While Dhanush called meeting up with Big B an honour, the latter tweeted that Dhanush was a star in his own right, and that he was a very simple person. Meanwhile, two fathers are gearing up for the release of “3” — Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth!

A trend of sorts

Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja started a trend of sorts with the single audio release of ‘Evan Di Unna' from “Vaanam”. Now, he's coming up with ‘Papparappa' from “Vettai”, directed by Lingusamy. The pacy number is said to be sung by the music director himself, and apparently, a promotional video for the song is getting ready to be used exclusively for the Internet and television channels. The film has Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in the lead, and is expected to hit the screens next year.
