U.K. housewives’ revolt

More than 6,000 British housewives are taking part in a “silent revolt” against price increases, according to Mrs. Sheila Montgomery. Other housewives joined her boycott movement and have already banned jam, meat extracts, and gravy powers from their shopping lists. There are now 230 boycott groups in Britain. Mrs. Montgomery said on April 16 our aim is to mobile the power of the housewife by simply refusing to buy certain things for a month to stop prices going up.
