Rain fills projects on Krishna to brim

A fresh spell of heavy rain on Monday evening created traffic problems, and many were caught unawares. Traffic lights created a beautiful scene, as the inundated roads reflected all colours. Heavy rains in the catchment area of Krishna River also brought water into Nagarjunasagar Project, K.L. Rao Sagar Pulichintala Project and officials released water from Prakasam Barrage also on Tuesday. Water gushed out of 12 crest gates of the N’sagar Dam on Monday. The Hindu lensmen Ch. Vijaya Bhaskar, V. Raju and Singam Venaktaramana capture all the hues of rain and life around. »
