Gorkha Heroes post win
NEW DELHI: Gorkha Heroes recovered from being a goal down at halftime to beat Garhwal Heroes 2-1 in the DLF-ONGC-SAIL DSA senior division football league at the Ambedkar Stadium on Monday.
Deepankar Das and Nigerian Stanley scored the goals for the winner, after another Nigerian recruit Oseni had put Garhwal Heroes in the lead.
Gorkha Heroes has 22 points from 10 matches, and Garhwal Heroes has 15 points from 10 matches.
In another match, Simla Youngs recorded a 2-0 victory over Royal Rangers following two goals from striker Bosen. Simla Youngs has 10 points from 10 games, and Royal Rangers, 13 from nine.
