SBT in final
KOZHIKODE: SBT, Thiruvananthapuram, thrashed Young Challengers, Puducherry, 7-1 and stormed into the final of the South Zone Federation Cup football qualifying tournament at the Corporation Stadium here on Monday night.
T. Asif Sahir scored two goals (37th and 39th minutes) in SBTs ridiculously easy win. The other bank-men to score were skipper K.M. Abdul Noushad (sixth), Martin John (34th), Mohammed Shafi (52nd), Abdul Hakkim (70th) and K. Rakesh (84th). For the Puducherry side, Fernando Freedon pulled one back, in the 89th minute.— Principal Correspondent
