KADAPA: Y.S. Vijayalakshmi, wife of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, the Congress candidate for Pulivendula Assembly by-election, will pay homage at her husband’s ‘samadhi’ at Idupulapaya on Tuesday, before filing her nomination. Ms. Vijayalakshmi and her son Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy reached Pulivendula from Bangalore on Monday. They will place wreaths on YSR’s ‘samadhi’ and offer prayers. Later, YSR’s family members, followers, public representatives and Congressmen will have a meeting at YSR auditorium in Pulivendula at 10 a.m. Ms. Vijayalakshmi would file her nomination papers in front of Returning Officer G. Gopal in Pulivendula Tahsildar’s office at around 2 p.m. A few Ministers including N. Raghuveera Reddy and former Minister Konda Surekha and her husband K. Murali are expected to be present when she files her nomination. Large number of people from all the seven mandals in Pulivendula constituency would attend the filing of nomination papers, according to party sources. Ministers to attendUnion Minister of State for Steel A. Sai Prathap, Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, Minister for Medical Education Galla Aruna, Minister for Agriculture N. Raghuveera Reddy and Minister for Minority Welfare Mohd. Ahmedullah will take part in filing of nomination by Ms. Vijayalakshmi, according to party sources.
