Srinagar: A Junior Commissioned Officer of Border Roads Organisation allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle here, police said on Monday. Subedar Karan Singh, posted at Signal Centre, shot himself by his carbine rifle at BRO headquarters at Rangreth on the outskirts of Srinagar on Sunday, they said, adding that he died on the spot.
