“Install Phule’s statue in Assembly”

HYDERABAD: The Praja Rajyam on Saturday resolved to take the message of social justice advocated by Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phule and said it would bring pressure on government to install a statue of the social reformer on the premises of Assembly.

On Phule’s 119th death anniversary, party, president K. Chiranjeevi and senior leaders pledged to continue motivating cadres to spread the ideals of the visionary, in its endeavour to bring about change, social justice and equal opportunities to all sections of society.

“The PR was born out of the inspiration provided by such visionaries,” he said.
