Chennai: The fifth edition of the JK Tyre Junior Cup racing begins at Irungattukottai Motor Race Track here this weekend, with 22 competitors on the grid. The championship this year will witness four rounds of the Formula Maruti category over two weekends. Each round consists of three races with eight laps each in the short loop. Apart from this, the weekends will see two races each in the Race Star Saloon cars category and TVS Race a Bike class. Rohini in second campTalented sailor Rohini Rau is the lone Indian among the 11 overseas participants in the second training camp of the Perth 2011 Emerging Nations Programme which is underway in Western Australia and will continue till December 11. The ENP launched last year is considered the world’s first initiative to help further the Olympic dreams of talented sailors in these nations through assistance in developing skills and knowledge.
