Letters to the Editor
The sangh parivar has a lot to answer for. According to the Liberhan Commission, the BJP’s top leadership, including Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L.K. Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi, cannot be deemed innocent — it cannot be assumed that they did not know the sangh parivar’s design to raze the Babri Masjid on December 6, 1992. Mr. Vajpayee’s indictment is of particular significance. The government must act against all those indicted. The BJP would do well to distance itself from these leaders. Motupalli S. Prasad, Chennai M.K.B. Nambiar, Mahe Kasim Sait, Chennai S. Jamal Ahmad, Patna
