National Pharmacy Week being observed

MYSORE: The JSS College is observing the 48th National Pharmacy Week in association with the Indian Pharmaceutical Association. The theme of the event is “Make Pharmacy Your Career”. Mruthyunjaya Kulenur, Registrar, JSS University, Mysore, inaugurated the conference. He appreciated the serviced rendered by pharmacists in manufacturing and dispensing medicines. B. Suresh, Vice-Chancellor, JSS University, and president, Pharmacy Council of India, expressed concern over the quality of graduates and said the new graduates were not meeting the expectations of the industries and urged them to acquire specialised skills. He also called for restructuring of the pharmacy course.
