Terror links: court seeks probe progress

Special Correspondent

Kochi: A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Wednesday adjourned to November 30 the hearing on a writ petition seeking an investigation by the CBI or the National Investigation Agency (NIA) into cases involving terror links in the State.

When the petition came up for hearing before the Bench of Chief Justice S.R. Bannurmath and Justice A.K. Basheer, the government submitted that there was no need to refer the cases to the NIA. The DGP said many legal hurdles would have to be crossed before referring the cases to the NIA.
