Man held on charge of stealing plants at airport

Nedumbassery: The Nedumbassery police have arrested a 30-year-old man on charge of stealing ornamental plants from the golf club premises of the Cochin International Airport. The person, identified as Dileep from Thripunithura, was allegedly found carrying away the plants worth Rs.10,000 brought to beautify the golf club road in a pick-up vehicle.

The area had been under observation by the security staff following reports that people were walking off with the plants during the night.
