In all hearts forever: State Secretary of Communist Party of India (Marxist) N. Varadharajan unvelling the portrait of P. Mohan, former MP, in Madurai on Wednesday. MADURAI: The best tribute to late P. Mohan would be to discharge party responsibilities by following his footsteps to strengthen it, Communist Party of India (Marxist) State secretary, N. Varadarajan, said on Wednesday. Unveiling a portrait of the two-time Madurai MP here, Mr. Varadarajan said that cadres should learn from Mohan’s life that bigger responsibilities come to individuals only step by step. “Even Mohan would not have imagined that he would become an MP when he joined the party. He grew up in the ranks by sheer dedication for party’s development and service to the people,” he said. Besides being trained by the party, he learnt a lot of things by serving the people. “The noble memories of Mohan would guide the party in taking the people in the right political direction,” Mr. Varadarajan said. Party leaders U. Vasuki and K. Varadarajan, MLA, N. Nanmaran, and district secretaries, R. Annadurai and V. Sundaram, were among those present.
