LUCKNOW: Former national coach T. Chandrasekaran won both his singles and doubles matches to guide Southern Railway to a 2-1 victory over host, Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO) in the 56th all-India Railways tennis championship at the Officer’s Club, Manak Nagar, here on Monday. Chandrasekaran beat V. John 7-5, 6-4 in the singles, and later partnered his brother T. Dhanasekaran to beat V. John and Rajeev 7-5, 7-5 in the doubles. Dhanasekaran lost his singles to Rajeev 4-6, 7-6, 2-6. In other matches, South Eastern Railway beat South East Central Railway 2-0; Eastern Railway beat North Eastern Railway 2-0; and North East Frontier Railway beat Integral Coach Factory 2-1. The tournament was inaugurated by the Director General of RDSO, H.S. Pannu. — Special Correspondent
