dated November 24, 1959: Train accident

The Narsapur-Nidadavol Passenger coming to Nidadavole collided with a goods train on November 23 at 3. 15 a.m. near the South Cabin of Nidadavole station. Twenty-six passengers were injured. On information, local doctors B.V.L.N. Raju and G. Subba Rao went to the spot and rendered first aid to the injured passengers. Dr. K. Raghvendrarao, District Medical Officer (Railway), came from Vijayawada in a special train with medical equipment and doctors.
