Nedumbassery: Deccan 360, the recently launched cargo handling and express logistics firm, is all set to expand its operation to the Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) with the first freighter scheduled to take off from here at 8.30 p.m. on Monday. According to the senior airport officials, the air cargo venture would deploy an ATR -72-500 type aircraft in the Cochin- Coimbatore-Chennai sector on five days a week under the new winter schedule. The freighter is scheduled to land here at 10.20 a.m. with domestic inbound cargo and depart for Coimbatore. Based in Nagpur, Deccan 360 has a fleet of 5 ATR type and 3 Airbus aircraft to transport cargo.
