Special trains extended
CHENNAI: Southern Railway on Saturday extended the following special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during the festival season.
Chennai Central - Tuticorin weekly specials: Train No.0611 will leave Central at 8.15 p.m. on Thursdays from December 10 to January 28 and reach Tuticorin at 9.45 a.m., the next day. In the return direction train no.0612 will leave Tuticorin at 6.15 p.m. on Fridays from December 11 to January 29 and arrive Central at 8.25 a.m., the next day. The specials will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Vanchi Maniyachchi, Milavittan and Tuti Melur. Train no 0612 will stop at Perambur also. Reservation is available for the specials, a Railway release said. — Special Correspondent
