CBI probe into Mumbai attack sought

NEW DELHI: Condemning the brutal attack by Shiv Sainiks on a television channel’s office in Mumbai on Friday, the Delhi Union of Journalists has called for an immediate inquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation to bring out the full facts of the case.

DUJ president S. K. Pande called upon the Press Council of India on Saturday to immediately hold its own inquiry into increasing attacks on the media, especially those which threaten the freedom of expression.
