Bagha (Bihar): A railway accident was averted by alert gangmen when they stopped a passenger train before it could pass through a damaged track between Bagha and Balmikinagar in Bihar, officials said on Saturday. The driver of the Muzaffarpur-Gorakhpur passenger train applied emergency brake after he noticed a group of gangmen waving their red shirts and pointing to the track ahead, they said.
