Killed in house collapse

CHICKABALLAPUR: A woman was killed when her house collapsed owing to heavy rain in Kuppalli village on the outskirts of Chickaballapur town in the early hours of Saturday. The woman was identified as Venkatamma. Deputy Commissioner Anwar Pasha and Chickaballapur MLA Bache Gowda assured the victim ’s family of compensation. — Special Correspondent
