GNDU enters final

ALIGARH: Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar, staged a fightback to beat host Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) 3-2 in the men’s semifinals of the North Zone inter-university badminton championship here on Saturday. At one stage, AMU was leading 2-0 after winning the first two singles of the best-of-five-match encounter.

The results (semifinals): Men: GNDU bt AMU 3-2; Punjab University, Chandigarh, bt Delhi University 3-0; Women: Delhi University bt AMU 2-0; Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, Faizabad, bt Punjab University 2-0.
