Anantapur: Puttaparthi is dressed up for the 84th birthday celebrations of Satya Sai Baba. The convocation ceremony of Satya Sai University will be held on November 22. Sai Baba’s birthday falls on November 23. Inflow of foreign tourists and devotees has already begun with decorations and illumination. The week-long celebrations have been launched formally with Venugopala Swamy’s chariot festival on Wednesday. Several cultural performances are on during the week at Prashanti Nilayam.
