TDP lodges complaint against Jagan

Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party on Friday complained to the State Election Commission that Kadapa M.P. Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy took out a rally with a convoy of nearly 100 vehicles during GHMC elections campaign in Maheswaram and L.B.Nagar areas violating model code of conduct. In a memorandum the TD General Secretary, Varla Ramesh urged the SEC to initiate action against Mr. Reddy and other Congress leaders for violating the code.
As per the code, vehicles used for electioneering should not be allowed to move in convoy of more than two vehicles but the Congress leaders used nearly 100 vehicles during Mr. Reddy’s election campaign rally that commenced from Maheswaram and proceeded towards L.B. Nagar and Nagole, he pointed out.
