M.Phil applications: Applications have been invited for admission to the newly commenced M.Phil course in genetics and genomics at the Department of Biochemistry. The last date for submitting applications is November 30. Details can be had from the department on phone 0471-2418078.

Date extended: Applications for the MBA, MHA, Health Science, PG diploma and certificate courses, BA Afsal Ulema and the BLiSc and the MLiSc courses of the Institute of Distance Education can be submitted without fine till December 15 and with a fine of Rs.100 till December 31.

Tuition fee: Students who have not paid the first instalment of the tuition fee for the second year MA, M.Sc, M.Com courses of the Institute of Distance Education can do with a fine of Rs.150 till November 30.

M.Phil Management: The temporary list of those selected for the admission interview for the M.Phil management course in the Institute of Management in Kerala has been published. The interview would be held on November 23.

MSW interview: The admission interview for the MSW (CSS ) course at the Department of Sociology will be held at 10 a.m. on November 25 at the department. Details can be had from the department on phone 0471-2418425.

UNESCO fellowship: The UNESCO has invited applications for research in various fields. Details can be had from the web site www.unesco.org. Applications should be sent to the MHRD, Sasthri Bhavan, New Delhi before December 10.

Refresher course: Applications have been invited for the refresher course in Chemistry scheduled at the Academic Staff College from November 28 to December 18. The last date for submitting applications is November 23. Further information can be had from the web site www.ugcasc.
