M.S. Jayanth takes over as GM of SCR

HYDERABAD: M. S. Jayanth, General Manager, Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Perambur, on Friday took over as GM of the South Central Railway. He was holding additional post of in-charge GM, Southern Railway, from April this year. Mr. Jayanth started his career in SCR as assistant commercial manager, Vijayawada division, in 1974. He worked as secretary to the SCR general manager during 1979-81. Lauded as a knowledgeable officer, his stewardship of ICF saw the organisation receiving several productivity awards from the Railway Board and Maharashtra Government.
