BELLARY: Health Minister B. Sriramulu on Friday appealed to the people to donate blood periodically. Speaking after inaugurating a function to mark Blood Donation Day organised by the Department of Health and Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) here, Mr. Sriramulu said that blood donation once in three months would help donors to maintain good health. “The advantages of blood donation are many and there need not be any misconception in this regard,” he said.
