Condolence meet in memory of Subramanyam

KADAPA: A condolence meeting for P. Subramanyam, former Kadapa Collector, who was killed in the Chief Minister’s helicopter crash on September 2, will be held at Harihara Kala Bhavan on November 29, In-Charge Collector M. Girijasankar said on Friday.

He released a poster of the condolence meeting in the Collectorate Sabha Bhavan.

Born in a poor family in Nellore, Subramanyam rose to become the CM’s Special Secretary, he said.

Officials could put forth their experiences with the late Kadapa Collector and they would be published as a book, he said.

DRDA Project Director G. Gopal said poor students should draw inspiration from the deceased IAS officer. Rajampet RDO Venkataramana Reddy and DRDA area coordinator P. Thimmappa participated.
