Inviting: DJ Andy and his colleague at the newly opened Toxic Lounge pub at RR Grand Hotel in Visakhapatnam. — VISAKHAPATNAM: A new restaurant and dance floor was opened at RR Grand, a unit of Amaravati Inn (P) Ltd., at Dabagardens in the city on Thursday. The spacious restaurant also has a private dining room in the middle, first of its kind in the city. The dance floor has lighting equipment imported from Italy and the inaugural show is slated for Saturday night, with DJ Andy from Hyderabad already in the hotel, raring to go. Some of the city elite, a majority of them businessmen, who were present for the opening of the new restaurant on the fifth floor of the hotel, commended the ambience. A few of them even shook the leg and tested the floor to the music by the DJ. According to former MLA S. Rangaraju, who owns the hotel, the entire staff including chefs were from outside as he believed in the best in Chinese and South Indian cuisine. They are provided dormitory accommodation while the executives are accommodated in separate rooms. Front office manager K. Ramesh said the tariff of the rooms as well as the cuisine which matched the best star hotels in the city, was competitive.
